We’re at the half way stage of the PDI competition. An interesting evening with many excellent photographs and for the first time Dot Beddoes has won a round of a club competitions, with her excellent photograph called Guy Fawkes. Dot’s been a long time member of the club and it’s excellent to see her doing so well.
The other members who scored very highly were Brian Howell, with ‘The Model’ and Wendy Jones, with ‘Steam Punk Beauty’, both scoring 19 points.
Three members were tied on 18 Points. There were Mike Clatworthy, with ‘Cwmystwyth’, Paul Dennis, with ‘Leaving Home’ and Richard Jones with ‘6 Going on 16’.
This round was judge by the very experienced Ian Legard. He give a very good critique with a good attention to detail and plenty of good tips for the members going forward. Thank you to Ian for the time it took to review and judge the competition for us.
At the half way point in the competition, Brian Howell’s with 56 points, 1 point ahead of Gerald Davies on 55 and very closely behind are 3 members, Paul Dennis, Clive Edwards, and Wendy Jones on 53 points each.
