The club held it’s annual challenge and this years the theme was ‘Tabletop’. Tabletop photography is about photographing a still life subject on a table top, which sounds easy, but getting the composition and lighting spot on is very challenging and covers a wide range of topics.
There was a very high standard of entry from the members and you could see the effort each and every member had put into their photographs. Subjects ranging from mushrooms, to fruits and flowers and the odd Indian Elephant. The excellent and creative use of composition and lighting was excellent.
A big thank you to the double act of Dennis Russ and Mike Clatworthy for taking the time to provide feedback on every photograph, giving plenty of goods tips along the way.
