Just a quick post to celebrate the success of our exhibition in the Quadrant over the last three days.
First up, a big ‘thank you’ to all those members who gave up their time to be on the stand and talk to the great unwashed – your help was much appreciated!
We exhibited 65 images which, between them, attracted 304 votes. Many more visitors enjoyed looking at the images but decided not to vote for a favourite. As a demonstration of the broad tastes of Joe Public, 52 of those images attracted at least one vote as ‘best in show’.
Eight images attracted ten or more votes as viewers’ favourite. They are, in reverse order:
The Lion by David Bond (10)
Glencoe by Peter Russell (11)
Whiteford Lighthouse by Kev Walters (11)
Worms Head Sunset by Ian Keevil (12)
Pebbles on the sea bed by Clive Edwards (16)
Station in the mist by Chris John (16)
African Sunset by Mark Clayton (21)
Good Catch by Wendy Jones (26)
Well done to all those photographers. If each could send me the electronic version of their image, I’ll put a Facebook post together of all of them.
Kind Regards
Mark Clayton
