With the introduction of the Jeff Lang Trophy later this year, were members are asked to put together a panel of 3 photographs, Dennis Russ explained how to create a panel of 3 photographs and the difference between a panel and a tryptic.
It was a very informative evening and thank you to Dennis for his hard work in putting his presentation together. The key points from Dennis’s presentation are –
- Work to a theme
- Edit all the photographs in a similar way
- Importance of the panel layout and positioning of each photograph
- Pay attention of little details within each photograph
- Consistent use of paper
- Tonality and colour should be consistent
