{"id":2877,"date":"2025-09-28T09:52:39","date_gmt":"2025-09-28T09:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/morristoncameraclub.co.uk\/?p=2877"},"modified":"2025-09-28T09:52:41","modified_gmt":"2025-09-28T09:52:41","slug":"annual-exhibition-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/morristoncameraclub.co.uk\/?p=2877","title":{"rendered":"Annual Exhibition 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Just a quick post to celebrate the success of our exhibition in the Quadrant over the last three days.<br>First up, a big &#8216;thank you&#8217; to all those members who gave up their time to be on the stand and talk to the great unwashed &#8211; your help was much appreciated!<br>We exhibited 65 images which, between them, attracted 304 votes. Many more visitors enjoyed looking at the images but decided not to vote for a favourite. As a demonstration of the broad tastes of Joe Public, 52 of those images attracted at least one vote as &#8216;best in show&#8217;.<br>Eight images attracted ten or more votes as viewers&#8217; favourite. They are, in reverse order:<br>The Lion by David Bond (10)<br>Glencoe by Peter Russell (11)<br>Whiteford Lighthouse by Kev Walters (11)<br>Worms Head Sunset by Ian Keevil (12)<br>Pebbles on the sea bed by Clive Edwards (16)<br>Station in the mist by Chris John (16)<br>African Sunset by Mark Clayton (21)<br>Good Catch by Wendy Jones (26)<br>Well done to all those photographers.
